Biking full day

Cat Ba Biosphere Reserve covers approximately half of the land area of Cat Ba Island, and also includes a large area of marine ecosystems.

In fact, it is the first protected area in Vietnam that comprises of a marine and a terrestrial component.  This, combined with the vast number of threatened indigenous species and rich natural diversity, makes Cat Ba Biosphere Reserve of international importance.  One of the most renowned residents of the reserve is the elusive Cat Ba Langur.  A few years ago there were only 60 adults in the population of this endangered primate, which lives nowhere else on the planet

The National Park itself is beautifully peaceful; a haven of lofty trees and gently rustling undergrowth, dripping down precipitous limestone crags like a freezeframe of a rich, green waterfall
